Last night our School Board voted unanimously to open our four elementary schools on Monday, October 12. For Middle School and High School, we continue with remote instruction for now and hope for a return to in-person instruction on October 26. The School Board also voted to affirm our fall Athletics Health and Safety Plan, which allows for UHS student-athletes to participate in an interscholastic season. Patton fall sports teams will continue with the inter-squad program at this time.
Part of the Legislation agenda, during the School Board Meeting on September 21, 2020, included a motion to approve Statement Condemning Racism, Discrimination and Social Injustice. The motion was approved and the statement can be viewed here.

Navigating remote learning and the feelings that come with it may be difficult for some of our younger learners. The UCF Elementary Behavioral Health Team has created a Virtual Calming Room for elementary students to explore.
The updated Unionville-Chadds Ford Continuity of Education Plan is to be implemented during the remote learning period from September 8 until October 8, 2020.
