Over 60 local and regional professional artists will display and sell their art in an array of mediums to satisfy every taste and budget at the 60th Annual Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show on Friday, March 20th from 7pm - 10pm and Saturday, March 21th from 10am - 4pm. As in previous years, patrons can meet the artists on Friday evening while enjoying live music and complimentary hors d’oeuvres from prominent local restaurants.
This year’s Featured Artist is Judith McCabe-Jarvis whose oil, “Springtime Tea”, was painted just for the show. The spring theme is perfect for the anticipation of the end of winter! The original and prints of “Springtime Tea”, along with many other offerings from Judy, will be available for sale at the show. Ms. Jarvis is an accomplished local artist whose works are displayed in many regional galleries.
Our Donating Artist, Lou Messa, has created an original oil painting called “Shenandoah Ragged Mountain”. This will be featured in the raffle. For more than 35 years, Lou has made a living creating wonderful works of art in Virginia. This year’s raffle items will be posted on our website listed below.
On Friday and Saturday, patrons will be entertained by accomplished musicians, both students and professionals alike. Admission is free and 30% of all purchases are tax deductible. Proceeds benefit educational enrichment programs in foreign language, science and the arts at Chadds Ford Elementary School.
